Time

And oh how time flies by.
My watch is watching me and I feel like I cannot hide.
No I can never get away.
Forever chasing yesterday. Déjà vu is just the way that time keeps playing tricks on me.
As time goes by, times goes by... Everyday it looks me in my eyes.
No matter how I try, this time it’s time I can’t deny.
It’s stolen my "hello’s" and quickly changed them to "goodbye’s."
They say it’s time that takes your pain and sets you free and lets you fly.
So I don’t know, but I know it’s got the best of me.
See my best is all that I can give.
And so I choose to live for Christ and spend my time with Him.
The beginning and the end, so very close so far away.
Tomorrow, yesterday in His hands He holds eternity.

When I first met you... you made me feel that I was... the one and only woman...
Walkin round on God's green earth.
I can't believe I let you... walk your way right into... my one and only pure heart...
Since its the only one I've got.
Now pickin up the pieces... aint so easy when it... feels like they're just rainin down...
Rainin down from God's blue sky.
So here I am just cryin... standin in the pourin rain... Hopin maybe one day...

Everything in life have it's purpose right? So I guess you came into my life to make me cry. Said hello to say goodbye. Protect and serve right? You never protected me, you just protect your pride. But I'm still shinnin bright... No lie, these tears make my eyes shine like the sunrise. So I... can't really give you credit. Everything inside me makes me wanna up and just forget it. But I know.. No. That ain't the way you grow. Sometimes you gotta see the rain before the sun can show. So I just open my heart, open my mind, give it some time. And as much as it hurts I would never want to rewind. Cause the storms that I go through make me who I am... So I just trust my God to help me understand...

So now that it's all said and done... I'm movin up to moving on... The worst of all the things you did... was never really seeing me.
So now your eyes are opened wide... and now I'm no where you can find...
I guess you'll never really know... what you had.
So tell me where the real man... of my dreams is hidin...
Come out and help me understand.. need you to make it clear to me.
Cause everything that I've been through... won't stop me from loving you...
